Superheater Coil Introduction
Superheaters and reheaters are specially designed to increase the temperature of the saturated steam and to help control the steam outlet temperature. They are simple single-phase heat exchangers with steam flowing inside and the flue gas passing outside, generally in the cross flow. Superheaters and reheaters are often divided into multiple sections to help control steam temperature and optimize heat recovery, and their heating surfaces can be arranged either horizontally or vertically. The physical design and location of the surfaces is dependent on the desired outlet temperature, heat absorption, fuel ash characteristics and cleaning equipment. The main components are usually manufactured from steel alloys, as both the superheater and reheaters are operated at high temperature.

Test
1 | Latest type of 'U' bending machine is used for precision cold bending of tubes. |
2 | Bending is done for all kind of heat exchanger, condenser, economizer, boiler tubes in Stainless Steel Seamless as well as welded. |
3 | Subsequent to 'U' bending tubes are hydro tested & stress relieved if asked for. |
4 | Also mock-up pieces are prepared for determining thickness reduction on the bend portion. |
5 | Dye penetrant testing on the bend portion is done ro detect cracks, flaws or any type of defect. |
6 | Special packing is provided to prevent any damages during transit. |
